European Carbon Farming Summit 2027: See you in Kraków!
Project Credible is pleased to share that the European Carbon Farming Summit 2027 will take place in Kraków, Poland, from 16–18 March 2027. After the success of the previous editions in Valencia, Dublin and Padova, ECFS27 will bring together Europe's carbon farming community to exchange knowledge, strengthen trust and support the practical implementation of credible carbon farming.
The 2027 Summit is organised by Climate KIC, EIT Food and the Project Credible new consortium, and will be co-hosted by the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB), Green Alchemy and the European Carbon Farmers, with the support of the National Bioeconomy Hub in Poland.
Hosting ECFS27 in Poland offers an important opportunity to deepen engagement with Central and Eastern Europe and the BIOEAST community, while continuing to connect farmers and land managers, researchers, businesses, financial institutions, public authorities and European policy actors from across Europe.
The European Carbon Farming Summit has become an important meeting point for Europe's carbon farming community. Bringing ECFS27 to Kraków is a valuable opportunity to strengthen engagement with Central and Eastern Europe. Through Project Credible, we want the Summit to support constructive exchange between farmers, researchers, businesses, financial institutions, public authorities and European policy actors as carbon farming moves towards implementation.
We are delighted to co-host the European Carbon Farming Summit's 2027 edition in Poland with a vision of both enabling, as well as contributing to a European dialogue built around credibility, transparency and practical results, now with a particular input from Central and Eastern European countries. The Summit will offer an important platform for connecting scientific evidence with farmers' knowledge, policy frameworks and market opportunities, helping carbon farming move from ambition to effective implementation. Through cooperation with the BIOEAST Community, we also want to strengthen the participation of Central and Eastern Europe and bring the diversity of regional farming systems and needs even more fully into the European debate.
